Solution

This setting will need to be changed when using MXD and Windows10 and/or if you receive “10852” error.
Have the user change the ControllerConfig->MailMerge->Default App Flush value from 4000 to 0.  

• This is a legacy setting that indicates how often MailMerge should stop and restart MS Word.  
• This mail merge action is no longer required.
